The Advanced Research & Innovation Centre (ARIC) website is currently offline while essential works continue across the Farnborough College of Technology campus.

In September 2023, reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) was identified within parts of the College’s estate following a Department for Education (DfE) review.

As a result, a number of spaces across the campus have been prioritised for teaching continuity and learner safety, while remedial and replacement works are completed. During this period, the ARIC facility has been temporarily repurposed to support teaching delivery, ensuring minimal disruption to students and apprentices.

ARIC is scheduled to relaunch in September 2026, once the current programme of works has been fully completed and the space is returned to its dedicated role supporting aerospace education, research, innovation and industry collaboration.
